ILC Field Consultant Assignment:
- Meet with insured at his repair shop; inspect equipment for signs of vandalism.
- Inspect engine and damaged components.
- Make a photographic record of damages and comments.
- Collect lubricant samples for Laboratory Analysis.
- Provide a report of findings and comments to the adjuster, including Lab results.
- Engine failure was not likely caused by an act of vandalism.
- Failure was almost certainly caused by technician error (shop towel left in oil pan).
- Lab results supported main bearing failure due to oil starvation
- Recommend engine replacement with rebuild.
- Written Report, Photographic Record of ILC findings and supporting Laboratory findings provided to client.
- Invoice.
- Email Packet to Adjuster.
