Our process is an important part of our ability to consistently provide accurate assessments from the start, in a timely manner. Our accuracy in projections are proven over time and challenged over small and large losses.
ILC brings together over 25 years of experience across machinery, forensic loss consulting, and insurance industry expertise. The resulting process yields the most accurate answer in the timeliest manner possible. ILC starts with investigating the environment, the loss site, and the impacted equipment. Next, the designated consultant gains an understanding of business impacts, the insured’s needs, and analyzes and assesses the loss comprehensively. The team then delivers the report which always answers the client’s questions and includes (as appropriate) determination of reparability, costs for repair, replacement cost valuation (RCV), and actual cash value (ACV). Last ILC’s experts determine which entity is the right answer to oversee rebuild vs. replace. If there is a reverse engineering need, the team lays the plans out for that as well.
